Code of Conduct

The Red Room is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all our event attendees, staff and artists. In pursuit of this goal, we actively participate in the BarWatch program, and all patrons are required to have their photo ID scanned before entry.

To ensure a secure environment, we may conduct searches of you and your belongings upon entry to the venue. By presenting your ticket and entering the venue, you agree to these searches. If you choose not to consent, you will be unable to enter the venue. Additionally, please be advised that our premises are under video surveillance, and your actions may be recorded.

Individuals exhibiting inappropriate and disruptive conduct, as outlined below, may be asked to leave the venue and reported to the police:

  • Drug use and/or excessive intoxication
  • Consuming or concealing outside beverages in the venue
  • Smoking inside the venue, including vape pens of any kind
  • Excessive tiredness, i.e. sleeping
  • Vulgar, offensive, or aggressive language or behavior
  • Physical altercations, teasing, or threatening remarks or gestures
  • Littering or making messes of any kind
  • Vandalism or graffiti of any kind
  • Disorderly, thoughtless or unruly conduct
  • Unwanted or non-consensual touching of any kind
  • Engaging in unlawful activity or behaviours of any kind
  • Moshing, stage diving or crowd surfing
  • Shirts must worn on at all times

Prohibited Items

  • Outside alcoholic beverage of any kind
  • Outside food and beverages – water bottles must be empty upon arrival
  • Weapons of any kind, such as firearms, knives or anything that could be used as a projectile
  • Narcotics or other illegal substances and their paraphernalia
  • Backpacks or bags bigger than a small purse – you will be asked to use coat check
  • No skateboard(s) inside the venue – you will be asked to use coat check
  • Masks or any kind of face coverage, including kandi masks
  • Laser pointers
  • Professional cameras and recording devices not pre-approved by management
  • Any promotional or commercial materials not pre-approved by management
  • Any other objects, at the discretion or security or staff, that could compromise public safety of the event or patrons

Safe Space Policy

The Red Room is a club for people to enjoy music without fear of harassment or discrimination. We welcome diversity in our audience and work to create a safe space for everyone present; in return we ask that you respect these values and each other. If you are having an issue with someone, please don’t hesitate to hold it in. Speak with a staff member or security right away so that we can help you.
